From DealMachine to Kernalite
DealMachine is a good place to build a list. Kernalite is where the list turns into contracts. Moving takes an afternoon, and the 30-day trial means you can run both until you're sure.

Bring the CSV and I'll walk the columns with you on the mapping screen. Owner names, phones and emails all have a home; anything we don't recognise you can skip or file as a note.
Five steps
- Export from DealMachine. Export your lists as CSV. Include owner name, mailing address, phones, emails and your tags — one file per list is easiest to map.
- Import contacts. In Kernalite open Contacts → Import CSV, upload the file, and map each column on the next screen. Unmapped columns are skipped, and the import reports what it added and what it couldn't read.
- Import lists. For property lists, Lead Lists takes a CSV up to 25 MB and files each row as a lead in that list, ready to work.
- Skip-trace in place. Anything missing an owner or a phone gets traced from the lead itself — no second export. Use our provider, or connect your own IDI Core or BatchData account.
- Move the drivers. Install the mobile app, sign in with the same account, and keep driving. Photos and pins from the kerb land on the lead before you reach the end of the street.
What moves, what doesn't
- Properties, owners, phones, emails, mailing addresses
- Tags and list membership (as Kernalite lists and tags)
- Notes, when your export includes a notes column
- Drive history and route recordings — start fresh routes in the app
- DealMachine call logs and message threads — keep an export for your records
- Their skip-trace credits — trace what you need in Kernalite instead
Overlap the subscriptions
Start the free trial, import, and work the leads in Kernalite for a couple of weeks. Cancel DealMachine when you stop opening it. Nothing on the Kernalite side charges you until you choose a plan.
